Date Night...

OK so blog entry #2 for me! It took me 7 years to get Erin to a haunted house but I finally did it! (Never give up kids! Dreams do come true!!!) It was one of the funnest date nights we have had in a long time. First we had the most delicious sushi ever! All I can say is, "Cowboy Roll." Then off to the mall where I softened her up with a quick stop in Old Navy and Forever 21. The best part about that is she didn't buy anything! Then the fun began! Nightmare on 13th Street was AWESOME! I like to think that I am kinda brave and I was screaming like a school yard girl! Erin was so traumatised after ward that she slept with the light on. I am so proud of my brave wife! She did great through the whole thing up until the end where she wasn't quick enough to get away from the "Chainsaw Man" and I had to leave her behind! When I went back to save my slow and terrified wife she was huddled in the corner, "Chainsaw Man" leaning over her with sparks flying from the blade and screaming louder than ANYTHING I have ever heard. I did rescue her though and was able to smooth over the "Leave behind" with some Coldstone Ice Cream. All in all it was a great night and I can't wait for next Halloween! Great job Erin. You never cease to amaze me! YOU ROCK!!! and I love you!

OKAY that is the funniest thing I have ever heard.. You are so funny!!! What a fun date night!! And I loved the part about shopping.. Erin, don't you know that when you are doing something that your husband wants you to do you should take advantage of shopping when he takes you to a srore hahaha:) That sounded like a lot of scary fun for you guys!! :)

What kind of pansy leaves their wife to the relentless torturing of the chainsaw guy?!? Don't worry about a thing, I think when you're at a haunted house it's everyman (or woman) for their own. I wouldn't be sticking around to help anyone in there! I'm glad you had such a great night however, I'm not sure you'll talk Erin into going again next year. I think you should stick to the cowboy roll.

This is Carter! First of all, you are gay! You are gay for two reasons: 1. You actually blog! 2. You had sushi! Are you friggin kidding me! Did I teach you to be so gay? I am with you Erin, I sleep with the light on and I don't even go to haunted houses. So much for the army training brave soilders! What kind of black squawk pilot leaves his wife with the chainsaw guy. I think they should demote you to chef, instead of Lt. You can heat up the MREs! You are gay!

Erin, first of all I don't know who millertime is, but I love him!!! Too funny!!! Second, I won't go to haunted houses either, and third, head straight back to the mall and charge up that man's credit card for doing that to you!

you know what is almost as funny as the hillarious post. . . the comments left by your friends!!! I can't wipe the smile off of my face. Love it!
Are you sure you fly blackhawks? After this post it's hard to believe you're really in the army.
Erin!!! What the heck were you thinking?!?! A haunted house and you didn't get anything at the store?
I used to go to those haunted house things all the time when I was younger and I always hated them. I think guys like to take you there so they can pretend to be brave then ditch you when the "chainsaw man" attacks.
Cute post. Glad you two had a fun date night
